Organic red split lentils with a mild, earthy flavour and a soft texture after cooking. They are a versatile cupboard staple for soups, curries, stews, dals and vegetable dishes.

Ingredients: Organic red lentils.

Preparation: According to the pack, soak for 8–12 hours, then cook gently in approximately 1.5 litres of water for about one hour. Add salt, olive oil or fresh onion to taste at the end.
